Disappointing results on Composite Worktops

After first applying Unika Solid Surface Shine the results looked good on a our composite worktops. A couple of hours later we did some washing up and after we had wiped the worktops with a clean damp cloth we noticed that they became streaky and patchy after they had dried and some of the polish appeared to have come off on the cloth. We thought that perhaps we hadn't built up enough polish on the worktops and so a couple of days later we polished them again only to find that a few hours later the same thing happened once more after they had been wiped clean. The worktops now look streaky and patchy, in fact, worse than before we applied this product. Unika may well work effectively on laminate worktops or maybe other types of worktop but from our experience we could not recommend it for a composite worktop.

Not One For The Birds

The product appears to be well made and there's no doubt that the sensor picks up movement within the given range. Of course, I can't hear if it's producing ultrasonic sounds but to be sure, I've had it on the frequency for birds and they just ignore it and carry on digging up my lawn! It would be unfair to say that it doesn't work to stop cats, foxes etc because I haven't needed to try it on those frequencies but if you need something to repel the birds in your garden, I wouldn't recommend this product.
