A great product for beginners
I bought this DVD as I have recently moved and there are no fitness classes nearby. However, I am already reasonably fit. Although I found the exercise relatively easy I did think this was a well thought-out instructional DVD for beginners as the exercise is split into three sections - easy, intermediate and advanced. Therefore, it allows those new to exercise and those less active to build up their fitness level and aim towards something more challenging. I also thought it was very good how Harvey constantly said what exercise was coming next and counted down the current exercise to the end before going into an intermittent march/jog before the next exercise. This was very helpful. However, my problem with the DVD was 1) The participants didn't seem particularly fit or know quite what they were doing (this is a personal preference to me, others may like this fact). 2) I am at an advanced level of fitness and so know the methods of each exercise. I did think that it would be difficult for beginners to know how to perform the exercises correctly: a small amount of instruction may have helped. Nevertheless, I think it was an excellent beginner to intermediate level DVD with constant movement and focusing on whole body toning. I'd definitely recommend it to others.

A fun way to keep fit for beginners
Fancying myself a future Strictly contestant I thought I'd try a few dance lessons to tone my body and practice the moves... or was it that I wanted to tone in a less traditional manner? Anyway, I thought the DVD was a fun way to get some exercise as it followed basic dance moves from each dance type, but was more suitable to those who are new to exercise as I didn't feel it was challenging enough for me. However, I did feel the instruction was confusing at times (I think this is a lack of experience as exercise teachers from the Strictly dancers) as some exercise was explained step-by-step, but when the dance was sped up the dancers did something slightly different on occasions. The camera also did not always focus on the moves, but panned to faces, which also made parts confusing. Finally, I have a reasonably large lounge, but even I sometimes ran out of space so I wouldn't recommend this if your lounge is small/cluttered.

Charlie's Angels - Full Throttle
I bought this for my daughter who is 11 and loves Charlie's Angels. However, I personally don't like these films - the fight scenes are way over the top and unbelievable and the storyline is almost non-existent. Nevertheless, if you like chick-flick type films then you'll probably enjoy it - I don't like this genre at all. Although, even my daughter didn't enjoy it as much as the first film.
