Seriously strong magnets

These magnets are very strong and perform the task I require of them. I have a door on rising butts that always closes when you don't want it to, especially you are when carrying a a cup of tea!. The magnet does a great job of holding the door open until enough force is used to overcome the 'pull' of the magnet. The strength of the magnets 'pull' can be increased by using more than one magnet. I am now thinking of other uses around the home for these great magnets.

It really does work!

I needed a hook to hang the remote control of the bath raise and lower seat. The control is quite heavy and previous hooks had pulled off from the tiled wall. I did try an extra strong two sided tape but that failed to hold the weight. These extra large hooks seem to be capable of staying attached despite the weight. I did clean the tile with surgical spirit before sticking the hook up and as the instructions say, it needs to be affixed to the surface without anything being hung on it for some hours to allow the adhesive to really grip. The result is that the hook is firmly fixed and no sign of falling off after more than two weeks of supporting the heavy remote.
