useful
useful pre-shaped plastic shapes, easy to cut to size, glue, paint, etc
I'm likely to buy more

Really Nice
I very much like this item of rolling stock, not just its livery and that it has working lights but also the artistically styled bar name on its side.
Am very happy that I have been able to buy it - even though it was 'second hand' (in excellent condition)

Just what I was looking for!
Its great that this item is available - this is something that I very much had wanted and indeed was on the point of scratchbuilding something exactly like this! I've now personalised this building by adding seating, people and internal lighting.
This model is based upon platform buildings at Harrow-On-The-Hill station in London which is served by both Metropolitan line subsurface (not tube) London Underground trains and diesel trains operated by Chiltern Railways. When these buildings were built the British Railways services still used steam locomotives.
Many other stations also use similar styled platform buildings. Some of these stations were on lines that were served by the 1938 tube stock train also built by Bachmanm - and on sections of railway where the last British Railways goods trains hauled by steam (or diesel) locomotives continued to run until the mid 1960's.
