Some good, some bad
Good: Fits perfectly, easy to apply, and doesn't affect photos in good light.
Bad: It turns any photo where you use the flash pale blue. I guess this is due to the edge of the glass catching some light from the edge of the flash. Before and after pictures attached. I don't think there would be a simple solution for this with this model of phone as any protection has to sit in front of the main glass and the flash is so closely attached. Maybe moving the flat edge further up and away from the flash would help?

It actually fits and works
This is the 3rd replacement battery I've bought for my Moto X2, and this is the first one that fits and works.
The first one, a cheaper "OEM" (lies) one, didn't fit. The control circuit board was too large for the recess in the phone, and the battery wasn't curved like the original. This meant the case didn't fit back together properly, and the spring loaded connectors between the front and back of the phone didn't connect.
The second one, more expensive this time, at £16, was the same. Circuit board too big, and lacking the curve of the original. I carefully bent it to shape and tried it anyway, and its capacity was less than the one it replaced AND the phone still did the fit together properly.
Finally I thought I'd risk it one last time and get this one from PolarCell, even thought it was the most expensive option. The battery fits the curve of the phone perfectly, the circuit board fits the recess exactly, and the capacity seems (so far) to be exactly as stated.
It's not the cheapest, but it's the only one I found that does the job.
