The Berlin Airlift, Jackson, Robert Hardback Book
31 Aug, 2016
The Berlin Airlift
Communist Russia were determined to starve Berlin into submission, after WW2,including the Allied powers that shared the city as agreed, regardless of the loss of life. A Christian advisor to Roosevelt -" A Man with God, imbued with infinite wisdom" instigated what became known as The Marshall Plan to feed Europe, which was all very short of food after the U boat kills. The skill of Allied pilots flying above street level into Schipol, and the dedication of the staff unloading foodstuffs, and flying out the starving children of Berlin is all included in this very real account. The Russians failed. Communism 0, Christianity 1.[won]
