Ideal for travel. Choice of Alarms
Instructions a little brief and not totally clear. Setting not that easy. But it fits the bill and I like having a choice of alarm sounds.

Excellent account, written well and with clarity. Not a full academic textbook but a very good overview with great pictures.

A sad story, but so well handled. Julianne Moore superb.
I had read the book some time before and wasn't sure what to expect, but the film remained very close and true to the book. In fact, for once it was better, the book dwelt a little too much upon the medical detail and was somewhat clinical.
A quiet film, directed and acted with much empathy - Julianne did her research well into the sad disease of early onset Alzheimers. The effects of the diagnosis and its progression on family and the effects on the sufferer herself were so well handled. I felt the son was a little left out of the story and the husband seemed to be a little lacking in feeling, but perhaps this was meant. I had never seen Kristen Stewart in anything before and although she was good, I don't think she was outstanding.
I am a huge fan of Julianne Moore (ever since her early appearance in one of my favourite Robert Altman films, and also in Magnolia) and she deserved the Oscar. What I particularly liked was that the subject matter as shown here was not handled with too much sentimentality.
Recommended, we will all get old one day and an understanding of the effects of this disease, dramatised like this is a wonderful addition to the genre.
