Cheaply made
I've had one of this type of defrosting trays before but lost it in a move. Sadly the quality of this one is very poor, it looks & feels cheaply made.
It works ok but takes a lot longer than my previous one and really doesn't cope well with thicker pieces of meat. A piece of pork fillet takes 3-4 hours to defrost. I'm not sure that's any faster than just leaving it on a plate.
I recommend buying a decent one from a kitchen shop as a good one really is marvellous.
