Great 3D
If you’re still into 3D and are lucky enough to still have a 3D TV, this film is an excellent rendition of the format, provided you’re a Trekkie, of course.

A traditional PC based alternative to the iPad, with a bigger screen.
Fujitsu Stylistic tablet PCs have been around a lot longer than the recent arrival of the iPad and all its clones. This device is a 'traditional' windows PC packaged into the size of 13" laptop. No mouse is needed to activate buttons and icons, although the bluetooth would probably enable this.Instead a special stylus is used to gently tap the screen.Don't lose it though, because they are expensive to replace. Second hand tablets usually have the MS Windows XP tablet edition OS which has a virtual keyboard interface or alternatively a virtual writing pad with handwriting recognition can be used to input text. This works very well and can even recognise longhand as well as captial letter input. Connection to the internet is faultless using a WiFi connection and although the tablet can be purchesed with a docking station incorporating a DVD drive, it doesn't really need one unless you insist on using a keyboard, which would be marginally quicker than on-screen inputs. The tablet has a couple of USB ports, so is quite capable of having a USB DVD read-writer connected if you want to install software that way. All the other usual connections are available on the side of the tablet, including 3.5mm microphone and headphone sockets, although there is a small built-in speaker which is adequate for listening to on-line video or radio programmes. Why buy one of these in preference to a laptop ? - The tablet has the convenience of a magazine-sized pc and doesn't need to be opened to view the screen. It's easily portable around the house, far moreso than a laptop. It has the same advantages as the current iPads but has all the functionality of a stable windows platform PC for those who want to continue using a fully-fledged PC.
