Nice looking bars, but not too sure about security

These are very smart looking bars, and are relatively easy to assemble and fit to the car. Once assembed, removal and re-fitting is very quick. I have not yet used them in anger, but they appear to be quite strong. I have a couple of concerns about security, though. Firstly, the security with which they clamp to the car's longitudinal bars. The clamps are made of plastic and hook onto a relatively narrow ledge on one side of each bar. whilst they feal fairly secure, I'm not sure that when carrying large sheets of plywood, for example, the clamps would hold against the large upward wind forces generated. Secondly, the bars are claimed to be lockable. The clamps do indeed need to be tightened with the star-shaped tool provided. But there is no key as such. Unless I'm mistaken, anyone in possession of one of these tools (and I assume that they are all the same) could undo and steal your bars.
