Can have a Phil. number,while still in the US

Don't overlook the mercury mono cd releases
The early mercury mono recording are special.
By listening to the early 50's recordings,you will soon understand why a prominent reviewer coined "living presence " to describe the recording under review.
From an audiophile perspective, I prefer some of mercury's mono recordings to the well regarded stereo issues.
I am referring to the original cd releases that came out in the early 1990's to late 1990's, not the multi-disc sets that came out many years later.
Just like the vinyl: original is superior to reissue, the same holds true with the cds.
