good analog/digital camcorder
this is a basic model for beginners/novices in the field of filming. you can capture still images as awell as record on a mini DV casstte and hook it up to a PC to transfer your recording. When transfering onto a DVD you do lose about 25% quality bear this in mind, whereas if you hook it upto a VCR you only lose less than 10% quality.
If you have mini-DV cassettes which you want transfering onto DVD then this model is for you because newer models of digital Mini-DV camcorders cannot play analog recording, they will ruin your precious memories
