They work, why the bumps?
These really do seem to work, though when I installed these I also upgraded the bridge itself so it's probably both contributing to the improvement. These and roller string trees are worthwhile upgrades. My only critique is that I wish you could find these with a smooth top instead of the little bumps/texture thing. It's weird that you can't.

Fantastic! Exceeded expectations!
If you're on the fence about this thing, just get it! Got mine today and it's everything I expected and more. Sounds great! I'm a Telecaster person, and this amp really seems well matched to Teles, with great spank and percussiveness. The tone knob is surprisingly useful. Honestly, I'm enjoying this little thing much more than I ever enjoyed my silver face Twin Reverb. A little reverb, some tremolo, and you're in tonesville, man! Couldn't possibly be happier!

Better than I expected for old style blues...
I really really like this thing. It has a sound of its own, the digital thing I presume, but it sounds nice to my ears through a little tube amp, and I don't play digital-type stuff at all - mainly real old blues and jazz, with occasional forays into mild crunchville. It gets nice and spooky on certain settings, which more traditional reverbs (I have a few...) don't quite do. It's hard to describe, but don't sleep on this one if you're a blues person or someone that appreciates crispy desolation as a sound.
