Coupled with my Great River preamp it is AMAZING!
1 of 1 found this helpful I first tried this very famous microphone with a so-so mic preamp.....it was just ok; however, when I plugged the mike into my Great River M-1NV, MAGIC HAPPENED! The microphone is world-class, but be advised ONLY a great Mic Preamp will bring it to life!

LEICA- the Mercedes Benz of cameras!
1 of 1 found this helpful Let's just say that LEICA is legendary for a reason.....its the Mercedes Benz of cameras! Fantastic camera that is well engineered, super quiet and image quality is just superior to others.....and that's all I've got to say about that!

Great mic at any price
1 of 1 found this helpful This mic is pretty incredible...I have at least 12 different mics in my studio, including a Neumann 102, Coles ribbon, & other not-so-cheap microphones. I'll say this; the AKG is, in my opinion, far more useful & "better sounding" than the Neumann! Wish I had found this one BEFORE I bought the Neumann......
