Exceptional Value
1 of 1 found this helpful There was a time when one original DeWalt 18V 2ah battery was nearly £90, yet these excellent 3ah (repeat 3ah) after market ones are less than £20 each posted. It is hard to justify replacing my DeWalt tools for the newer slide battery varieties when I can get batteries at this price. It is not the first time I have bought these and reliability is very much on a par with the originals.

Could be better
On the positive side the pump comes with a very useable 6m cable length and inflates our Outwell Concorde tent in a respectable time to the specified pressure.
On the negative side it is quite noisy and I might be tempted to drop a sleeping bag over it so as avoid creating unnecessary disturbance. The connection to the Outwell inflation point could be better and I found this tended to come apart. The pump itself was relatively unstable and wanted to tip over which resulted in much scratching to the case.
With a more stable base and a bespoke adapter ensuring a stable connection I would have rated this pump at 5 stars. As it is I suspect some of the cheaper alternatives might do just as good a job.

Makes coring almost enjoyable.
Having previously used offerings from both Makita and Hilti, this is my favourite. This dedicated core drill has two separate settings dependant on the size of hole being cored. In use I found it to provide a powerful and effortless coring action with the clutch perfectly balanced to avoid any sudden jarring. If it proves as reliable as my other DeWalt tools I cannot see me wanting to use anything else for what is all too often a tedious task.
