Delighted with my new walking foot!
I've never had one of these before....I went online to see how to fit it. It was very straightforward and I love using it.i bought it for quilting but have used it when using binding and it keeps it even with no gathering up. I love it!

No good for elasticated socks
I bought this for my 88 year old mother to help her putting her elasticated stockings on. It requires a lot of strength to both pull the elastic stocking over the frame and to push the foot through the sock to put it on. It might work OK for very loose socks but is no use to my mother.
