Straps are far too short

I have arthritis in both knees and thought that these supports would help when out walking. I didn't want to spend much on them in case they didn't help. If they had helped then I would have bought a more expensive pair. As they are called NHS supports I thought I'd give them a try. The straps are far too short and only just go round my knees (I am not a big person). They feel very stiff when walking maybe because the straps are too short. Difficult to know if they help with the pain, they certainly didn't make it any worse.
