As advertised and good for price.
Gears in good condition. Gears appear to be steel and are well cut as well as appearing to be machined (not cast pot metal). Housing is sturdy and the product comes clean. Application of grease will be required, but it was nice that this came clean and easy to handle. Motors are random brand no idea what RPM, but they work plenty fine in my Heng Long Leopard 2a6 1/16 tank with stock tx/rx setup.
I have only a single VERY MINOR complaint. The sheet metal housing for the gears etc is a tad scuffed. That's it. So what, right? Functionally fine and the gears themselves are in new condition. Likely this is just handling at the warehouse and has no effect on anything. Scuffing was so minor it's hard to get a decent picture of (so I didn't try). 5 stars would have be a flawless housing. Still, this is 100% worth the money and much better than the brass geared versions.

Excellent for price
These darts are excellent for their price and in many ways are superior to standard Nerf darts. The whistling feature works much better on these and can be heard much earlier in their flight and at lower speeds (meaning more of the weaker guns will give a nice whistle when fired).
Pro
- Weigh a tiny bit more and thus fly farther
- Feature a slightly different plastic for the head that while heavier is squishier (doesn't end up hurting anyone or pets)
- Work in all weapons tried, including magazine fed blasters
Con
- These are really low cost and 1 or 2 out of 30 (that's a really excellent rate of failure though) will have glue overflow. Darts like this are STILL USABLE and the issue is mainly cosmetic.
- They smell like acetone or other similar chemicals when you get them. That goes away after they've been allowed to sit outside. Likely it is the glue and they just need to be aired out. No big deal.
Closing
These are excellent darts. Buy them. I bought 30. I am buying 150 now... see the point?

Exactly as advertised except 1 issue
I was expecting a larger performance gain than I got. This is not the fault of the product. The product itself is wonderful, but please be aware that a spring replacement of double the original weight is not necessarily going to double FPS or the range. I would say I got a solid 25% but that is subjective and I have not done empirical testing. My Hammershot has no air restriction system and this spring as the only mods done to it.
