Laptronix curtain heater
8 of 8 found this helpful I bought this for my home cinema because its a large extension of around 50cu metres. IE 6m long x 3m wide x 2.4m high. This room is heated with the central heating but always remains 6-7 degrees cooler than the rest of the house, hence the need for backup. When the main heating is off this little unit maintains the temperature very well, and from a cold start it heats the whole lot in under 15mins. Its made of plastic, and the front is black toughened glass. It starts off using the full 2kw then when reaches temperature it reduces to the 1kw before turning the heat off alltogether and the fan just runs till the temperature drops. The ocillating louvre works brilliantly and blends the air giving a better overall heat up time. The remote control is small and fits in your pocket and works very well. The noise level is just the fan and only a few decibels above a whisper. The curtain heater looks great in here and blends right in with the dark colours of the home cinema and I'm very pleased indeed. The fixings are just two 2" (50mm) screws, and the unit hooks onto them, then you slide a few mills to the right and it locks into place. The plug and cord is about 1.5m long, this was insufficient for me so I wired in a 3m 1mm squared black flex then into a fused spurr. The flex supplied is only 2 core as it is classified as a class 2 appliance, but I wired in a new 3 core flex, but don't need to connect the earth inside the heater. Definitely a must have
These extra clips are really needed to make the wind deflectors really rigid whilst fitted to the car. The deflectors normally come with two clips per fitting, but realistically you need around five to six for the fronts and three for the rears. My car is a discovery three.

Cobra flight bag
I bought this flight bag for par cans, but really wanted it to house a t bar with four moving heads. Its extremely well made and the material is very heavy duty. The t bar and lights are very well protected now and I'm really happy with it. I ordered two for two t bars. There is a strap handle in the middle, and a shoulder strap aswell which makes it easier to carry with the moving heads. Total weight of the lights and bar is roughly 13kg and the bag copes with the weight no problem.
