Saves time from not having to sharpen the chain
I perform root pruning at construction sites as an ISA Certified Arborist. In those conditions, a standard chain goes dull within a few minutes. I have saved so much time in sharpening chains by using these carbide chains. I've been using them for the past 10 years.
Please note that it's not possible to sharpen this chain yourself. It requires an expensive, specialized tool. I live in Hawaii, and there isn't one of these tools statewide, so I collect used chains (which typically last for months before becoming too dull to use) to mail to a business in the Mainland that can sharpen them. But even if I were just throwing them away, I'd still use these chains. Time is money, and I save so much labor time by not having to constantly stop and sharpen them.

Great wrist brace made for women
