Superb account of a Fleet Air Arm Pilot during WW2.

A Superb Account of a Fleet Air Arm pilot during WW2. For me, probably one of the best books written by a pilot who flew from Aircraft Carriers for 4 years during World War Two. A warts and all account of his experiences, with his critical observations of why those in the Admiralty made decisions that influenced the design of British built aircraft that were used on carriers. The author flew also Wildcat, Hellcat & Corsairs in combat which he covers in great detail, including having to ditch..

Superbly Detailed Figure

Superb attention to detail. Obviously a lot of thought went in to the making of this figure. The Fallschirmjager is wearing a Luftwaffe Splinter pattern camouflage Field Jacket over a greatcoat. Best of all, the figure is wearing a pair of American "jump boots". Presumable taken from an American Paratrooper.
