Works for me, as I get badly cracked hands in cold weather without using hand cream.
Less greasy alternative to normal hand-creams - seems to work for me. A bit expensive per gram, but a little seems to go quite a long way.

Good kit, quite easy to make, functions as expected.
2 of 2 found this helpful Delivered in a neat kit inside the box which eventually houses the finished unit. Made of stiff card but it is functional. The instructions are pretty comprehensive and with fair soldering skills I found it easy to make up the unit, in under an hour. The only defect is that there is no specific place for the PP3 battery which knocks around inside if unsecured - I glued it down but that's not a terribly good long-term solution as will have to tear it apart from the box when the battery runs down. It seems to work well - we have at least one bat circling our garden most nights and it could be detected before it came into view. Whether it will be easy to distinguish one species from another remains to be seen.
