Hard work, but worth it.
5 of 5 found this helpful Bought a secondhand laptop with Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) installed for this. 1st problem was Microsoft don't want us to have IE9 so had to find a copy else where (and make sure windows doesn't update it). Second problem was that VIDA does not want to share port 80 - quite a few services were already using this port and hunting them down and stopping them was quite a task. Last problem was the patch file supplied was out of date, making it impossible to log in to VIDA All In One. There is a updated patch out there or the one supplied can be fixed, but why not have a working one on the disc? Once installed and running the software is a huge mine of information for working on your Volvo, and the DiCE unit appears to work as it should, with tons more functionality than a code reader. Will take ages to figure it all out but already successfully using it.

Worked for 2001 Volvo V70
Side Accelerometer. Used to cure ABS-00A2 and A3 codes. Worked without any initiation, although I did leave it to the next day befor switching on, as per the translated instructions. No problems 1 month later. Seemed a little expensive compared to other models and the 10 euro refund for the old one not really helpful, but happy to have traction control working properly and no more warning indicator.
Part number seems to be listed in VIDA as 8622414 but 9496454 also seems correct and was printed on the old sensor.

Makes a big difference...
Upgrading from some £13 'HQ' rca interconnects, these QED cables have transformed the sound of my Sony CD player. I guess you could call my kit "old budget audiophile": The Sony CDP-XE370 and a NAD 302 amp connected to Mission MX3 floorstanders with AudioQuest FLX/SLiP 14/4 Bi-Wire Speaker Cable, playing across a 3.5m deep room. Spending £100 on the speaker cable certainly made a difference so I was fairly confident about this purchase, but I would say the difference is even more marked here. Whether I actually like the sound remains to be seen - apparently audio cables take a while to "burn in" plus my ears take some time to adjust to a new way of hearing things. There is a much wider and clearer soundstage present, more detail and good base, but at the moment I feel they need a larger room. If they don't work in that set-up I can change things around so they are well worth the £50 to me.
