Hornby makes me happy!
This is a DCC sound fitted loco with the HM7000 TXS decoder chip that can be controlled from a mobile phone or tablet. For just over £100. It’s not a fully detailed model but still a good example of this class of loco. It all works fine and is a good economical way to add to any collection. It’s very controllable and a smooth runner and the chip ensures consistency in speed even going up and down inclined track . Sound quality is also good and very clear. The Hm7000 control system was easy to download and install on my I phone and simple to use. It does take a bit of practice to get used to it as it is so different to turning a knob on a dc controller. You keep looking down to see where your finger is on the screen , but as said it just need practice. Hornby got it right with this model

Good piece of kit
Bought this for my wife who is very pleased with it. It's very easy to assemble and is sturdy. The height adjustment for the handles is good and the seat has come in useful for short rests. It is easy for her to manouver.
