tiny mouse for big hands
^a title that would also make an interesting personal ad. This mouse works well so far, and only time will tell about durability. While I am satisfied, it can feel odd to handle. The cursor acceleration is fast, even tuned way down through my OS's GUI (similar behavior on multiple computers). It is also slightly smaller and much lighter than the average mouse I've used, giving me the sensation of overwhelming the tiny thing with mighty large hands. Despite these minor critiques, it is still an accurate cursor, with reasonably comfortable grip. The blue glow adds a certain cyberpunk charm, but no functional benefits.

Top tier 8" tablet, but still room for improvement
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm really demanding when it comes to electronics, as I manage a program that issues equipment to volunteer citizen scientists. It needs to be durable, dependable, and user-friendly. For tablets, dimensions and weight make a difference in how readily our volunteers adopt them, with 7"-8" being the sweet spot. We've tried other manufacturers with some amount of frustration and disappointment. By contrast the Galaxy Tab A greatly outshines those competitors, and doesn't have the interface quirks or bloatware that have caused us consternation trying to use other brands. The screen is bright and clear. We especially like the GPS receiver, as it derives very good accuracy by receiving signals from multiple satellite constellations. The internal memory is adequate and the microSD expansion slot is a must for us.
Now for the cons, of which there are very few. The 8MP main camera is low resolution and feels tired/obsolete for a device running Android 10+, especially since 16MP and even 32MP cameras are becoming ubiquitous. It would also be handy to integrate a compass sensor, and its absence makes little sense as these are standard in phones and readily available on larger tablets. It's time for manufacturers including Samsung to recognize the small/mid-sized tablet market includes professional applications and not just the personal/home market.

Not just an ambisonic mic, but a complete VR sound package
For an ambisonic microphone it's really hard to beat this. The firmware compensates for orientation, and the recorder automatically converts to B-format. Integrates well with desktop software available from the manufacturer, too. The device interface is familiar to anyone who has used a Zoom product in the last decade, but don't let the retro screen fool you. They've clearly made improvements under the hood. Among these are the ability to use the recorder as a USB-powered desktop mic, and to transfer files stored on its microSD card via a USB connection. When you account for all these features and the companion software, it's hard to imagine doing quality VR sound for any cheaper. Great bang for your buck.
