does what it says on the box
1 of 1 found this helpful The water filter is an expensive luxury needing changing regularly. As I have a water filter tap I left it in the box.
The water softness is set to very hard, I reset mine to very soft as the de scaler alarm seems to be a calculated indicator based on number of brews and the hardness setting.
Put a cup on the drip tray all the time to collect the water when the machine self cleans at switch on and when it goes into standby mode.

good value for money
Larger and heavier than most modern filters, appears to be good quality for a very reasonable price.

easy to set up
Did what it said on the box - the wife is happy - less Hi-Fi boxes on display in her lounge! Recommended.
