Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H1 5.1 Megapixel
4 of 4 found this helpful We are the proud owners of a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H1 5.1 Megapixel digital camera. We have had several digital cameras including 2 Nikons that we still enjoy.The Sony Cyber-shot is by far well above our expectations in a digital still camera. It has a very fast turn-around time for taking quick pictures,those special moments you don`t want to forget. With the Grandkids that is very important.I especially love the 2.5" lcd screen for playback and viewing. It is so much easier to get just the right shots.The colors are always bright and exact, if you can`t afford an SLR this is the only way to go.We bought this camera for the 12x optical zoom which has not disappointed us.I have been taking alot of closeups of birds setting on their nests,so far all of the features are pretty easy to use.I can take one picture after another without hesitation unlike most digital cameras. We recently took this on vacation, had it on the lake for a week, got the most superb pictures we have ever gotten, around 200 with little effort. I also like the sports button where you can set it to take consecutive shots. We don`t miss anything now. All are clear and defined.I keep extra batteries charged up so I am always ready to go.This Sony Cybershot is just alittle bigger than I am used to but more than worth it to have such quality pictures turn out. It is just a fun camera to have.

Excellent easy to use
26 of 28 found this helpful I have this exact video camera, it is so easy to use. The LCD is extra clear, rotates. Picks up sound very clearly. I use this on a tripod for an extended taping. The battery life is great, nice to have with kids or grandkids. If you can operate a vcr, you can operate this camera. I especially like the zoom, can take to ballgames, etc. and get the whole picture. Now I just pop in vcr and copy to DVD recorder.Works like a charm. Wouldn`t be without it. Our Grandkids love to see themselves on TV.

Very Easy to use, good hand grip. Color is exquisite,so far I love it. Took photo of smokestacks 3 blocks away,very clear,batteries last pretty good
1 of 1 found this helpful This camera I would recommend to anyone. It is a little bigger than I expected, not a problem. The photos are very true to color and very vivid. I like the quick action mode or sports mode taking several in a row. I have no bad things to say about this camera. I keep it charged up for those unexpected times you may need it. Love everything about this camera. This is the third Sony we have had, they stand up to time and use. The large lcd screen is nice. I have even been able to take it outside when it has been pretty cold, can take the temps. I especially like the upclose feature, it automatic so I don`t need to reset this. Works very well for fine detail. Glad we got it.
