This lens has introduced me to the world of wide angle photography. Wow!
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this lens so that I can explore wide angle photography and add a new dimension to my photos. I am using this lens on a Canon 5D MK2 and at 17mm it gives me an opportunity to get creative. It has a great depth of field and allows me to place an object very close to the camera and still have a sharp background in the distance. This is a quality lens that produces sharp images, and is a less expensive way of getting into wide angle photography, I love it.
