Doesn't save settings
1 of 3 found this helpful Although the item does enable audio control from the steering column, it does not allow the radio settings to be saved. I have had to reset radio stations and stereo settings each time I turn the ignition on. I am not an expert at fitting car stereos, neither am I an idiot, which is why I purchased this item as it was just a simple case of connecting the leads. However this is not the case. Having researched the issue, it seems that swapping/cutting yellow and red wires is the solution, something I am not willing to do as I risk invalidating any warranty, being unable to return the item or having to purchase another set of cables.
