Good viewing
Nick is a detective who finds out he is a 'Grimm', a family who can see the true nature of creatures called vessen who appear to be human to everyone else. He uses this gift and journals from his ancestors to solve murders and take down rogues. It's entertaining, well acted and pretty slick with the CGI and makeup to show the creature versions of the vessen characters. The final episode is a little WTF, but it ends well. If you're a fan of Supernatural, you will like this (although it's not quite as amazing). If you've not seen Supernatural but want to watch it, watch this first or you'll end up comparing it.
