one of the best tactical folders
in my opinion the spyderco matriarch 2 with the Emerson wave/hook is one of the best tactical knives available.
i added a karambit style finger ring to aide in a quicker removal from the pocket & it's now a very practical , highly useful , super sharp knife .

Works !
i have been trying to live trap , or snare a boar coon that has been destroying my bird feeders for a month or better , with no luck.
i bought this trap & after watching video's on how to use it ... I set it up by smearing a little peanut butter around the opening & inside , then dumped a small amount of sunflower seeds in the trap & on the first night caught my problem coon.
the spring is very strong so i used a flat blade screw driver to push down the spring & set the trigger by putting a piece of 1/2" pvc pipe in the opening to take some pressure off the spring to help set it (remove pvc after trigger is set) .
i also found out that when setting the trap ,to make sure it can't roll out from under you . i ended up bracing it against a tuft of grass . a shallow divot in the dirt works well too, or up against you shoe . finally , use the screw driver to make a hole in the ground as if you try to push the trap into the ground when it's already set it can go off.
very strong & well built
excellent product !
