Introduction to Microbiology
This was a required text for a compressed, hybrid (didactic online and labs at school)summer school course. Some topics were presented very cursorily and without classroom interaction to help with the concepts, it could leave you wanting more. Since it was an introductory book perhaps it was meant to do so.

It might be my fault
1 of 1 found this helpful When I first used, I had flat laundry (pillow cases, T-shirts, underwear, etc.). I then tried larger items which required some folding to fit the width of the rollers. The rollers spun a few times (hand crank turned but roller wouldn't engage). I released the tension when this happened. Now it seems that the 'spinning' happens more frequently and I must reduce the pressure to such a degree that I am able to squeeze out water from some of the laundry using my hands to wring. I still like it but for the price, I'm not sure if I could recommend.
