Not a bad beginning for Brooks’ farewell to Shannara
Another solid Terry Brooks Shannara novel. Two of the 3 principal plot stories make for fairly compelling reading, The 3rd, which follows Tavo Kaynin, is unnecessarily dark, and I found myself dreading the return to his story as I continued reading the novel. Anyway, it’s not in the same class as The Sword, Elfstones, or Wishsong, but it’s a good read, and the Drisker Arc character is one of Brooks’ better efforts.
