Behringer Composer Pro-XL MDX2600 with rack mount

Initial problem, solved. Does the job it was designed for.

When first hooked up the unit had an a hum that was audible across the room. This was traced to be coming from the internal power supply transformer. With the cover off the unit the sound was not audible. The problem was remedied by putting a soft washer between the top of the transformer and the underside of the lid, creating a physical barrier to transmission of 50hz vibration coming from the transformer. The buyer would have preferred not to have had to do this, but is happy with the unit in the end.

Potentially good product, but needs better quality-control.

Bought two pairs. Great-looking ears. But each pair did not match. The left ears were identical to each other but the right ears had different-sized holes to each other, and also to their opposite, so we found that one ear attached successfully but the other did not.
