Pretty but very lightweight
I paid about £120 for this in the sales, it is good value for that price but I wouldn't want to pay much more as it is not very sturdy and the fabric is not waterproof. I have put two of the legs in planters to stop it from blowing about in the wind, although you can secure it to the wall and ground. It does look nice, just not sure if it will last.
Update: after less than a year, the central bar has buckled, despite taking the canopy down in heavy weather.

Warm, well made, but heavyweight.
Great quality, I am sure it will last a long time. Really like that the inner fleece is removable (held in place with zips and a button. Only downside is that it is very heavy, much heavier than our other winter coats, even without the fleece.

Brilliant low price physics set
We paid around £15 for this and thought it was a bargain. It's not perfect, the shapes are plastic and have a couple of marks here and there, but for the price I really couldn't complain since glass sets cost so much more. It also comes with a couple of mirrors and a magnifying glass.
My children have had great fun experimenting with how the laser is reflected or refracted by each shape and experimenting with the kit. The light box allows you to use one, two or three lasers. They are all red, so you can't use it if you want to demonstrate the colour spectrum, but there's no reason why you couldn't use the shapes with a homemade white light box and the shapes alone were worth the cost.
The box it comes in is quite sturdy, although it is covered in Chinese writing so it doesn't look great as a gift, but I suspect any physics fans would still be very happy with it. Ours also didn't come with batteries but there is a place in the box where the batteries should have been.
