Best bang for your buck.
1 of 1 found this helpful Used this oil for years In my 1600 V twin and never had a problem. The 5001 is only a minor improvement and does not warrant the extra cost in my mind.

SB-400 almost all you will ever need.
2 of 2 found this helpful In my opinion the SB-400 is the best flash Nikon ever decided to stop making. They have replaced it with the SB-300 which is I think an inferior flash. The SB-400 is a tiny unit that weighs nothing and will slip into any available pocket if you are out and about and it fulfils 99% of my flash needs, it recycles quicker than the SB-300 and you get more flashes from a set of batteries.The only con as far as I am concerned is the lack of sideways tilt, but I can live with that if the alternative is the SB-300. They are still available new and second-hand and are often cheaper than the SB-300, SO IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A TOP PIECE OF KIT GO FOR THE SB-400.
