Testing unit
When setting the unit up initially the dial indicator does not line up with the pointer. However, after letting the temp get down to where I wanted it to operate and setting the dial to where it operated the unit has worked very well. I'm using this to turn on a heat lamp and water bucket warmer for one of the outside dogs. The unit is in a PVC box with just the probe exposed. So far I'm happy with the performance.

Good heavy extrusion. A couple of holes but they won't interfere with what I'm doing.

look further
Timer works great. if you have any problems after changing the timer, look at the lid closed switch. In mine it is the 3 pin receptical coming in the bottom of the timer area.
