I have to bear in mind the difference in price between this and the more 'exotic' and much pricier options. With that in mind, the machine is really good value for money. A couple of bits needed tightening up, like the exhaust deflector and engine guard (due to a threaded hole being stripped). It was and remains difficult to start, requiring numerous attempts before kicking into life. This is why I have given four stars. Once going, it works well and is powerful enough to do the job. Don't expect it to drill through or push aside tree roots and large underground stones/boulders - no machine of this type will do that. Gardens in new build housing areas are usually full of building debris that is buried by builders under a thin covering of soil, so be careful.
All-in-all, a good investment and avoids back-breaking digging and messy large excavations. It can quite easily be handled by one person but most people might find it better with two.
I am very happy with it.

A very useful and powerful addition to household cleaning tools.
This is a powerful and very useful addition to larger vacuum cleaners. There is enough battery power to clean a car, which is a lot handier than hauling out larger mains powered machines. All-in-all, I'm very pleased with it.
You asked for any 'cons' and so, here goes:-
The shape and colour of the machine makes it very awkward to 'sit out' and it can't be 'hidden in plain sight, something that is useful in a crowded kitchen, where it is kept. However, this is not so bad as to have put me off buying it as I prefer utility to looks when it comes to tools.

Dettol Disinfectant
Although much dearer than standard Dettol diluted and dispersed from a fine spray plastic bottle, it is convenient to use and ideal for what I wanted, namely to deal with a short term problem. As such, it met my needs fully, was handy and convenient. Taking these benefits into consideration, it was good value.
