HONEYWELL RTH111B THERMOSTAT NON PROGRAMMABLE

DIDN'T WORK AS DESCRIBED!!

I BOUGHT 3 OF THESE TO OPEN 4 ZONES ON AN IN-FLOOR HEAT SYSTEM. I NEEDED TO OPEN 2 ZONES WITH THEIR OWN THERMOSTATS & IN THE MAIN SHOP ARE 1 THERMOSTAT NEEDED TO OPEN 2 ZONES. THE THERMOSTATS ARE RATED @ 1amp. THE ZONE ACTUATORS NEEDED 0.2ampS FOR 500ms @ THEN IT SWITCHES TO 0.1amp CONTINUAL DRAW. IN REALITY I SHOULD BE ABLE TO OPEN 5 ZONES AT ONCE! THE ACTUATORS ARE HONEYWELL MT4-24S-NC SO THEY SHOULD HAVE WORKED WELL WITH THESE THERMOSTATS. I INSTALLED A CHEAP LUX BRAND ON THE 2-ZONE AREA @ ALL WORKS WELL.

CHEAP FIX FOR A UP & DOWN IDLE.

THIS PART SOLVED THE PROBLEM OF A SURGING IDLE. NO PROBLEM WHILE DRIVING. NOT AN EASY FIX BUT PROBLEM RESOLVED.
