Lotus 49 from Japan
Pundit beware. This is not the first kit I have purchased from Japan. The last kit was a Renault RE 30 by Tamiya. Which was excellent with instructions both in English and Japanese and did not incur any import tariff.
This kit had no English instruction and did have a customs import tariff of nearly £40 on top of the selling price. The kit however, although dated is good. It’s good that I am proficiently skilled to get around not having English instructions.

Easy to construct
Even though no assembly instructions are not included it was relatively straightforward to work out assembly. I used this for a bench drill. Due to the weight involved I replaced the mdf top shelf with something more substantial.

For the price it is extremely good value.
