Not fit for purpose
Where to start?
The hinge apperture insert are such a tight fit in the jig its nearly impossible to get them back out again, and being so thin the risk of breaking them is very high.
There is only one insert for each hinge size, so despite there being two spaces on the jig you have to swap the template for each hinge cut out, and obviously move the whole jig to cut the last hinge.
The lock apperture set up is no better, it has two self centering levers which have protective rubber sleeves on the arms. all well and good, but you need to remove the sleeves to get the arms through the jig and then replace them. After 2 mins struggling to remove one sleeve I realised that I wasn't going through this hassle everytime I wanted to swap from locks to hinges.
The whole principle of a jig is that it should be quick and easy to set up and make slow repetative jobs fast and accurate.
This fails on all counts, I expected better from Unika.
