Does more than keep bath water warm.
We have older plumbing and the drain thingy lets water through and it leaks in the basement and the only way to fix it is with a remodel, which is fine, but not in the budget for this year, so using this - upside down helped keep water from leaking while showering and keeps the bath water warmer.
