One of the best histories of Little Big Horn from both sides.
This book is particularly of value to anyone approaching the battle of the Little Big Horn for the first time. It gives a very readable account of the lives of George Custer, Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse. The author only uses eye witness, reliable testimonies and archeological evidence. Stripping away all of the heresy rumours and myths gives a much clearer picture of what happened. From here you can go on to study the more detailed accounts in the thousands of other books written about this battle and it’s participants. Recommended!

Must have!
If you have an interest in world war 2 and operation market garden in particular then you need this film. It’s basically A Bridge too Far made with combat footage and with the men who were actually there. It works wonderfully well. Highly recommended!
