Fujifilm quality lenses
2 of 2 found this helpful Apart from the two early lenses (18mm & 27mm) which perform very well, all the later lenses are stunning. This 14mm f2.8 is super sharp has a traffic dynamic range and very low distortion. I love the instant mechanical focus ring with depth of field view. Very good value and so much better than the many plastic offerings from most of the major lens producers.

Archer does it again
Jeffrey Archer is the master of the family saga. This is one of his best and am looking forward to completing it with book seven. He moves from character to character without losing the storyline but keeps you involved with each individual relevant to the events that unfold.
There seems to be autobiographical elements slipping in through the family's history which are quite interesting.
No doubt this will be a TV series in time. Recommended

This is no ‘kit’ lens.
2 of 2 found this helpful Some assume that as this is the standard zoom that comes with the better Fuji cameras that it will be your average kit lens but it is not. It is made so well unlike the plastic lenses from other manufacturers with cheap plastic bayonet mounts. It is very sharp throughout the zoom range and with great anti-shake. It is made of metal and has a fast aperture at the wdie end and oretty good at the portrait end f2.8 - f4 compared to the usual f3.5 - 5.6. It mat be the only lens you need until you discover whether you really need long telephoto or super wide angle. Brilliant.
