2.5G phone lover buys spare
I have a Nokia 301 that is now 5 years old and has been used every day. Recently purchased a second one for when I do eventually have to retire my first one.
It's been very reliable but is now starting to have the occasional glitch due to wear on the components. It has survived a number of drops with only 2 hairline cracks to the casing and some scuffs to the screen that can be seen when held to the light.
If you're after a relatively basic phone that makes calls, sends/receives texts & picture messages, can take basic photos (3.2MP camera), play mp3s and discretely fit into your pocket then it's one to seriously consider, if you don't want a touch screen. The keypad is smooth to the touch and my fingers can glide over the keys unlike some other phones I've used.
