Transit Connect Alternator
Arrived day after ordering , very well packaged. Identical appearance to original and complete with pulley so didn't have to mess around changing that.
Very easy to fit on the Connect so got it on in 20 mins.
First start up and on idle the warning light didn't go out, gave it a quick rev and out it went. It's gone out instantly every time since.
I've only done a couple of hundred miles but all seems fine.
Only thing I had to do was drill a hole for the cable securing clip in the rear plastic cover but as this unit is a multi- fit for other applications as well, it was no big deal.

Minted boxed set
Mintex - a name for quality stuff for decades, but probably now made abroad!
Anyway, the kit arrived well boxed with the discs adequately separated, the friction faces appeared coated for protection. Fitting was straight forward.
The pads were as per original equipment with chamfered friction material and fitted easily.
After bedding-in the brakes pulled up straight with no trace of squeal, pedal effort was normal.
I would recommend this brake set - it was dearer than some other makes but this is more than compensated for by the quality.

Observations on above switch
New switch snapped nicely into original location in flywheel housing. The 2 wiring connectors pushed into original fittings and the earth wire easily connected to one of the flywheel housing bolts. Switch was positive in action and worked well electrically. Well satisfied now but we will see how it works long term.
