AP1 710 iron set review
3 of 3 found this helpful I absolutely LOVE these irons. Titleist has created a great product in the AP1 irons, and I highly recommend their stock Nippon shafts. These shafts are lighter than the DG S-300 shafts, which come standard in the AP2 irons. This club produces a mid to high trajectory, with a slight increase in distance, about 5 yards per club. Excellant choice for the avid to skilled golfer, as Titleist advertises. I changed grips to mid-size tour wraps because my hands are above the standard size.
Only thing I dislike is the 4 iron. You must hit it perfect, so I might mess around with the clubhead. If not, I may buy a hybrid 3 iron, as the set comes standard with 4 iron thru gap wedge. I bought these clubs based on the design and brand name, and I needed a thinner sole. I am a 6 handicap, so I know these will shave a few more strokes off of my game.

Excellant R9 Driver!
3 of 3 found this helpful This TaylorMade R9 Driver, 9.5 degree, is the best driver I have owned thus far. I like the idea and confidence I have now knowing I can/am hitting more fairways, and I am getting about 15 to 20 yards more carry, although, living in Michigan, it is hard to tell what the roll out will be because our fairways are still kinda wet and they are not in mid-season form. I also like the mid to slightly high penetrating ball flight, which will increase the amount of distance with roll. I also love the shaft. It is a Motore 65 stiff by Fujikura. If you are having trouble hitting fairways, not confident/lost confidence in your current driver being unsure where the ball will go, and you want a club that will increase your confidence and distance off the tee, I highly recommend this club/shaft combo. Happy Driving!
