Excellent Value
4 of 4 found this helpful Impressive little splitting axe for a great price. Got this to supplement my splitting sledge for smaller diameter logs and splitting rounds for kindling. Both of which it handles well. The 'ramps' on the cheeks are symmetrical so a twist of the wrist might be needed for anything thick. It isn't a Bruks but is excellent quality for the money with a 3 year warranty thrown in. N.B. this is a splitting axe not a chopping axe it's supposed to be blunt.

Long 'dangerous' Matches - Perfect!
I have an antique ceramic match striker/holder that I use for the fire and was having trouble getting hold of strike anywhere matches that were long enough and cheap enough to use.
These are perfect, they light easily on the rough ceramic, are strong enough that they only occasionally break and are long enough to light the fire in safety.
You also get umpty times the matches you would in a box of Swan or England's Glory for a really excellent price.
