Italeri Reissue of Protar MV Augusa 500cc Three-Cylinder Motorcycle
It is obvious that Italeri has acquired control of the Protar tooling based on the kits Italeri has reissued. The Protar 1/9th scale motorcycle kits are outstanding examples of racing motorcycles of the 1950's and 1960's (as well as later years). The Protar issues of these kits are becoming very expensive but the new reissues Italeri has been releasing loose nothing in quality but have a more reasonable cost. I can only hope that Italeri will continue to release more of the Protar models.

Norev Blue Wonder
I purchased the Norev Blue Wonder Mercedes-Benz transporter because of the scale, 1:64. There are a number of other Blue Wonder transporters available and they are all good choices, but for the price and the ease of finding display space, I feel you can't beat the Norev.

Great Hot Rod Carburetors
Model Car Garage has done a great job on these carburetors. The resin carb bodies are very acurate. The photo etch parts provide linkage and one extra that comes as a real bonus, the 97 in a circle that goes on the carb body. You will need extremely good eye sight to see this but it is there. Wire to represent fuel lines and throttle linkage are included as well. If you need a Stromberg 97 carb for any project these are well worth getting.
