Precedent setting

The ER4 lineup is the in ear monitor (IEM) for enthusiasts seeking moderate sound pressure levels (SPL) with reproduction containing more detail, depth and accuracy then I have ever heard short of a live performance in an orchestral hall. I'm considering adding a digital analog converter (DAC) to the relationship as I currently use the ER4P-Ts principally with a laptop and my Google Pixel XL. ATidal subscription is also being considered. This is my 4th pair as I only ever buy used equipment and I am very hard on my IEMs. My last pair ended up as my daughter's chew toy and the pair before that was sweated out of existence. Before that, I inherited a pair from a client that was already I would say 40% consumed by the previous owner. They lasted a total of (5) years so that was a very worthwhile investment. Continue to change the filters as Etymotic recommends and you'll enjoy these IEMs for a decade. Keep the SPLs reasonable and I would strongly recommend not skewing your 20-80hz slider north on your equalizer. The ER4 line has an extended response (XR) model in the event you're seeking standing waves in your canal. Enjoy.
